Ivestigation Started About the Airbus-EADS Insider Trading

French parliament started hearings in connection with last week’s scandal following a report by French stockmarket regulator that blamed EADS and Airbus executives for inappropriately selling EADS shares before Airbus’s June 2006 announcement on the delays of A380.

The price of EADS’ shares dropped by 26% immediately after the announcement.

Airbus CEO denies any wrongdoing and says the charge are very serious and unjustified. The Airbus website does not mention anything about it.

Very good article! Explains everything about the situation. And yes, my opinion is the same. I think the fact they sold shares right before the announcement of the dely makes it chrystal clear somebody will be held responsible for it.
