Air France – KLM EUR 1 Billion Offer For Alitalia

Alitalia has been struggling with financial difficulties for a long time. In the past few months more airlines were bidding for it, but in the end all of them backed down.

Thus today’s news were surprising, that finally Air France – KLM offered Eur 1 billion for it. According to gossips in the industry another offer is expected from Lufthansa.

Alitalia is making loss of EUR 2 million per day and so far no investors were interested in buying it.

Thx for it! Well, it is a risky thing, but at least it can be bought relatively cheap. 🙂

Air One owners have also turned in a nonbinding big, while Lufthansa has backed out as Rodney said earlier.

The Italian unions are terrorising Italy.
The classic case of the few who damage the many.
If Italy wants to save itself, it needs to get rid of its politicians, its management and its unions.
Maybe it should just stop existing. Maybe it would be better for the many.
