Steve Fossett Is Missing

Tycoon Steve Fossett disapeared in Nevada shortly after taking off in a single-engine plane from a private western Nevada airfield. Nevada and California federal authorities immidiately started searchng for the businessman. The problem is that the plane is very small and the area is a huge desert with lots of mountains. He was flying a Bellanca Citabria Super Decathlon (see picture below – it is not Mr Fossett’s plane) when he took off from a friend’s ranch, but he did not return even hours later, so after calling some nearby airports, they started to search for him. He did not have a flight plan, so the search area is based on estimations where he can be found.
